وزير وشاعر من أصفهان في العصر السلجوقي، صاحب «لامية العجم» القصيدة الطويلة في الفخر والشكوى والحكمة، التي كثيرًا ما تُقرن بـ«لامية العرب» للشنفرى. أُعدم بتهمة الإلحاد إثر دسائس سياسية.
Seljuk-era vizier and poet of Isfahan, author of the celebrated Lamiyyat al-Ajam — a long meditative ode of pride, hardship and ethical reflection often set beside al-Shanfara's Lamiyyat al-Arab. Executed on a charge of heresy after political intrigue.
