What we collect

Noor Al Hikmah is designed to require as little personal data as possible. You can browse anonymously as a guest. If you choose to create an account, we store your email address, hashed password, reading streak, saved poems, and saved Nadim conversations.

What we do not collect

We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. We do not collect contacts, location, microphone, or camera data on the app.

AI conversations (Nadim)

Messages you send to Nadim are processed by OpenAI to generate a response. We do not retain raw chat content beyond what is needed to display your saved conversations on your own device.

Crash reports

If the app crashes, anonymised crash reports may be sent to Sentry to help us fix bugs. These contain technical stack traces, not personal content.

Analytics

The marketing website at nooralhikmah.com may use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity) to understand which pages visitors find useful. The mobile app does not run these.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account in the app, or by emailing hello@nooralhikmah.com.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we will note the change date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users in the app.
