كَأَنَّ المُنَايَا صُرْنَ لِلْقَوْمِ عَاشِقًا
وَنَحْنُ حِيَاضٌ لا يَزِلْنَ نَحِلُّهَا
As if deaths became the people's lovers
And we are pools they never cease to inhabit
