وَمَنْ يَجْعَلِ المَعْرُوفَ مِنْ دُونِ عِرْضِهِ
يَفِرْهُ وَمَنْ لا يَتَّقِ الشَّتْمَ يُشْتَمِ
Whoever puts kindness before his honor protects it
And whoever does not guard against insult will be insulted
