موسوعي قرطبي: فقيه ومتكلم ومؤرخ وشاعر. كتابه النثري «طوق الحمامة» أشهر دراسة عربية في طبائع الحب، يمزج فيه التأمل الفلسفي بالحكاية الذاتية والشعر. ومن مؤسسي المذهب الظاهري في الفقه.
Polymath of Cordoba — jurist, theologian, historian and poet. His prose treatise Tawq al-Hamama (The Ring of the Dove) is the most famous Arabic anatomy of love, weaving philosophy with personal anecdote and verse. A founding figure of the Zahiri school of law.
