«شاعر النيل» و«شاعر الشعب». معاصر شوقي، كان صوت الجماهير المصرية. عالج شعره الاجتماعي والوطني الفقر والظلم ببلاغة قوية.

The 'Poet of the Nile' and 'Poet of the People.' A contemporary of Shawqi, he was the voice of Egypt's masses. His social and patriotic poetry addressed poverty and injustice with powerful rhetoric.
