شاعر صوفي أندلسي وتلميذ ابن سبعين، أشهر من نظم الموشحات والأزجال في المعاني الصوفية والذوق العرفاني. لا تزال قصائده البسيطة المنغّمة تُنشد في مجالس الذكر في المغرب العربي إلى اليوم.
Andalusian Sufi poet and disciple of Ibn Sab'in, famous for popularizing the muwashshah and the zajal as vehicles for ecstatic mystical verse. His simple, song-like Sufi poems are still chanted in dhikr gatherings across North Africa.
