إِذَا الشَّعْبُ يَوْمًا أَرَادَ الحَيَاةَ
If the people one day will to live
Fate must respond
وَلا بُدَّ لِلَّيْلِ أَنْ يَنْجَلِي
And night must surely clear
And chains must surely break
وَمَنْ لَمْ يُعَانِقْهُ شَوْقُ الحَيَاةِ
And whoever is not embraced by the longing for life
Evaporates in its atmosphere and vanishes
