وَاللهِ لَوْ عَلِمَ الأَحْيَاءُ مَا فَعَلَتْ
أَيْدِي المَنَايَا بِمَنْ قَبْلِي لَمَا نَامُوا
By God, if the living knew what the hands of death
Did to those before me, they would not sleep
